Qisa film festival Award distribution @Technopark on 19th December 2013

TechnoparkToday.com(Dec,2013) > Techies found time to express themselves is what technopark has seen on 14th December 2014. The Venue was Qisa film festival conducted by prathidhwani- a socio cultural organization of technopark employees.

Twenty seven movies done by techies of technopark discussed many social, environmental, emotional and lifestyle issues. There were laughing jerkers and thought provokers alike. Eminent Jury from film field comprised of Shri M F Thomas (Chairman), Shri Vinu Abraham (member), Smt.Sulochana Ram Mohan (member)

Best film prize was awarded to “Farewell at gate no: 6″ – a comedy set in IT premises, directed by Suraj Fasiluddin of Allianz cornhill.

Second Best film prize was awarded to an environmentally awakening “A Braille Letter” directed by Manu S Kumar of UST global.

Mohammad Sohal (Nest) who directed a witty “Ulkka” won “best director” award

Best script and Best actor was awarded to Jophin Varghese and Karthik Ravikumar (both UST Global) for the film “ Thirakalil Olippicha Manaltharikal”.

 Special Jury mention was won by “Celebrations”, a sarcastic take by Anu Suhas of Ariva Med Data Infotech.

Award distribution and screening of award winning  movies will be conducted on 19th Dec 2013 in open air theatre of Technopark with young director, actor and singer Shri Vineeth Sreenivasan distributing awards. Jury members will also participate in this function.

In the same screen film – “liberators” produced by prathidhwani citing burning transportation issue will be screened.
