IBS Group Launches Naviq Technology, a Dedicated AI Company for the Global Travel Industry

Technoparktoday ( July 2026) : Kerala-headquartered IBS Group has announced the launch of Naviq Technology, a dedicated AI-first company purpose-built to accelerate digital transformation across the global travel industry.

The new company marks a significant milestone in the Group’s long-term strategy to strengthen its leadership in travel technology by combining decades of industry expertise with next-generation Artificial Intelligence solutions.

The new Naviq Technology campus at Infopark, Kochi, will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Shri V. D. Satheesan on July 23.

Announcing the launch, V. K. Mathews, Founder and Executive Chairman of IBS Group, said the travel industry is entering a new era where organisations are seeking intelligent technologies to improve efficiency, modernise operations, and create new business opportunities.

According to him, Naviq Technology has been created to offer something unique to the market—an AI-first technology and consulting company with deep expertise in the complexities of global travel. Backed by IBS Software’s decades of experience, the company aims to help travel enterprises become more agile, efficient, and future-ready while unlocking new revenue streams through specialised AI solutions.

Naviq Technology will serve airlines, airports, cruise operators, hospitality companies, logistics providers, and online travel businesses worldwide. Its services will focus on large-scale AI adoption, business transformation, customer experience enhancement, and intelligent data-driven operations.

The company will begin operations immediately with an established presence across 16 offices worldwide and will function as an independent business entity while complementing IBS Software’s extensive global customer network.

As part of its growth plans, Naviq Technology intends to expand its global workforce to more than 5,000 high-tech professionals over the next five years. IBS Group has also committed significant investments to strengthen the company’s AI capabilities and global delivery operations.

Speaking at the announcement, Rajesh Nambiar, President of NASSCOM, noted that Artificial Intelligence is transforming every industry and will play a critical role in building resilient enterprises.

Moizur Rahman, President of Naviq Technology, was also present during the announcement.

The launch reinforces Kerala’s growing reputation as a hub for globally competitive technology companies and highlights the state’s increasing role in Artificial Intelligence, enterprise software, and travel technology innovation.
