Trivandrum (June, 2026) : Kerala’s technology sector marked a significant milestone with the groundbreaking ceremony of YOO Hub Trivandrum, India’s first YOO-branded IT Park, at Technopark Phase III. The ceremony was inaugurated by Hon. Minister for IT, Industries & Startup, Shri P.K. Kunhalikutty.

Developed by HiLITE Group, the ₹300-crore project is expected to transform Kerala’s commercial technology infrastructure by creating approximately 5,000 direct jobs and adding 5.37 lakh square feet of premium Grade-A office space.

Speaking at the event, Shri P.K. Kunhalikutty said the project represents another important step in Kerala’s journey as a preferred destination for technology and innovation. He noted that the collaboration with globally renowned design brand YOO reflects increasing confidence among international brands in Kerala’s IT ecosystem and will further strengthen the state’s growing technology and AI landscape.

Special Secretary, Department of Electronics & IT, Government of Kerala, Shri Seeram Sambasiva Rao IAS, highlighted the importance of private sector participation in strengthening Kerala’s technology ecosystem and said the project would encourage similar investments in the future.

Shri Sandip Kumar IAS, CEO of Technopark, said the addition of premium Grade-A office space comes at an ideal time when demand from IT companies and Global Capability Centres continues to rise.

HiLITE Group CEO Shri Ajil Muhammed said the company’s vision is to bridge the gap between Kerala’s highly skilled talent pool and the premium infrastructure expected by multinational companies, making the state even more attractive for global investments.

YOO Hub Trivandrum is being developed in partnership with internationally acclaimed design brand YOO and International Workplace Group (IWG), one of the world’s leading providers of flexible and hybrid workspaces. The project is the first IT development globally under the YOO brand and India’s first YOO-branded IT Park.

Built on approximately 1.88 acres, the development will feature a basement, ground floor, two parking levels, and 15 office floors, creating a modern business destination for multinational corporations, Global Capability Centres, technology firms, research institutions, and emerging digital enterprises.

In addition to its economic significance, the project has already received LEED v4.1 BD+C Platinum pre-certification, demonstrating its commitment to world-class sustainability and environmentally responsible construction.

With an expected employment generation of around 5,000 direct jobs, YOO Hub Trivandrum is set to become one of the landmark commercial developments in Technopark Phase III, further reinforcing Thiruvananthapuram’s growing reputation as one of India’s leading technology destinations.
