TechnoparkToday: Kerala’s first cybersecurity SaaS (Software as a Service) product startup, Beagle Security, expanded its operations at Technopark on Friday, coinciding with its fifth anniversary and at a time when global cybersecurity concerns are escalating.
The inauguration of the new office, located at Yamuna Building, Technopark Phase III, was attended by Shri Manoj Abraham, IPS, DGP and Director of Vigilance & Anti-Corruption Bureau; Col. Sanjeev Nair (Retd), CEO of Technopark; Shri Sreekumar V, Secretary, GTECH & Centre Head at Tata Elxsi; and Shri Vasanth Varada, Deputy General Manager (Marketing and Customer Relationship).
Speaking at the event, Shri Abraham emphasized the critical role of cybersecurity startups in combating cyber threats and developing future-proof solutions. “Beagle Security has been a constant partner for the police department in developing solutions for analyzing the dark web. At a time of unprecedented cybercrime, companies like Beagle are working closely with us as volunteers, benefiting both parties,” he noted.
Col. Sanjeev Nair highlighted the significance of cyber risk mitigation, citing the example of effective cybersecurity posturing during Op Sindoor. He underscored the opportunities available to firms like Beagle Security in building robust defences against offensive cyber activities. “It is heartening to see companies like Beagle Security and Prophaze gaining prominence at Technopark, making the nation stronger in cybersecurity,” he added.
Founded in 2020, Beagle Security has quickly earned a reputation as an industry leader with its AI-powered automated penetration testing platform, entirely developed in Kerala. The platform has revolutionized traditional security models by making enterprise-grade protection accessible to organizations of all sizes. With over 1800 customers across 144 countries, Beagle Security has identified 42,000+ critical vulnerabilities in the past year alone—vulnerabilities that could have led to major data breaches if left undetected.
The company’s proprietary AI engine has reduced security testing time by up to 75% while boosting detection rates for sophisticated threats by 67% compared to traditional methods. “We started Beagle Security with a mission to make cybersecurity proactive, accessible, and continuous,” said Rejah Rehim, Co-founder and CEO of Beagle Security. “This new office is not just about growth but about our long-term vision for innovation and global impact.”
Beagle Security also provides cybersecurity audit and advisory services to government, public sector, and private sector organizations across industries.
With global API-based attacks increasing by 300% in the last year alone, Beagle Security’s expansion comes at a critical time, reaffirming Technopark’s position as a hub for pioneering cybersecurity solutions.
