Barcamp Kerala 11th edition at IIM-K campus Calicut

The 11th edition of Barcamp Kerala will be conducted at IIM – Campus, Calicut on 20th November 2011.

BarCamp is an ad-hoc unconference born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos and interaction from attendees. Anyone with something to contribute or with the desire to learn is welcome and invited to join. There are no registration fees or any charges for a barcamp as this is a user-generated conference. You are invited to volunteer for various activities for putting up a successful camp.

The first ever barcamp in kerala was conducted at Technopark, trivandrum. and after that the barcamp team successfully conducted 10 more barcamps all across kerala.

The rule of thumb of every barcamp is - NO SPECTATORS, ONLY PARTICIPANTS! – means, Attendees must give a demo, a session, or help with one, or otherwise volunteer / contribute in some way to support the event. All presentations are scheduled the day they happen. Prepare in advance, but come early to get a slot on the wall. The people present at the event will select the demos or presentations they want to see.
