Traffic Signal lights installed at Infosys and Mukkolakkal Junctions

TechnoparkToday.Com>>In the wake of increasing road accidents in Kazhakuttom bypass, the National highway authority of India installed new traffic signal lights at two prominent junctions near Technopark. Traffic signals were installed at Infosys junction and Mukkolakkal junction. The signal light installed at the Infosys junction started functioning from Friday.   Signal light at the Mukkolakkal junction will start functioning soon.

Road accidents are happening on a daily basis at these two junctions in bypass.  Mukkolakkal junction is a crossing point of 6 roads and is notorious for accidents.

As many as 12 deaths, including pedestrians, are reported in road accidents in these junctions last year.  National highway authority installed the signal lights in these junction with the support of Keltron.
