Technopark Celebrating Mother Language Day

mother_language-02TechnoparkToday.com>> As we know, Technopark is a confluence place of languages with many people with different identities co-existing. There are many regional, national and international languages being used to communicate here. From kerala’s very own Malayalam to Japanese, from Tamil to Hindi to English to French. We have multiple languages here. This is one of the symbols of technopark, making it’s mark as a truly diverse work place.

Socio Cultural Organisation of Tehnopark, Prathidhwani in association with “Aikya Malayala Vedi” is welcoming you to an opportunity, to celebrate and revive diversity of mother tongues. It is part of 21st February, which is being celebrated as World day of mother tongues.

If you are a speaker or/ a poet or / a singer in any language in planet, we are welcoming you to the World day of mother tongues to be celebrated in technopark on Thursday, February 19th at 05:30pm at Travancore Hall, Park Centre.

Technopark CEO Girish Babu, Dr. Achuthsankar S. Nair – Hon. Director, Centre for Bioinformatics, University of Kerala, and Technopark Senior Manager M Vasudevan will participate in programs.

There will be different programs already registered from Malayalam, Tamil, Marati, Kannada, Telugu, Oriya, Bengali, Hindi, etc. Indian languages and also from Japaneese, German, French, etc. foreign languages.

  1. What’s Steve Jobs doing in “mother language day” poster? If this is a “programming language day”, then OK, he can be there.

    Why not put Shakespeare, Ezhuthachan, Wordsworth, Vayalar, etc.? Why don’t put someone who really did something in the area of languages / literature / poetry?
