TechnoparkToday.com (Jan, 2014) : Good news for techies and well wishers. stoppage allowed for more trains in kazhakkuttam railway station from 25th Jan, 2014 onwards.
The trains are – Parasuram Express ( To and Fro), Island Express ( To and Fro ) , Vanchinad Express ( To and Fro ) , Malabar ( To and Fro ), Chennai Express ( Weekly )
The stoppage is temporary and for next six months and railway will study the necessity during this time, if more commuters are there, then they will maintain these stoppage along with some more..
Congratulations for everyone who worked for the cause. especially Prathidwani ( who even created a short film based on this, and made a big media coverage), Action council and its members, all techies and well wishers supported this movement and shared the news over web and social media. Stop needed for Intercity too..
Can some body check the stoppage of trains at kazhakootam (KZK) station from 01-Oct-2014 onwards ? In irctc website Seems that NO trains has stop towards Ernakulam Direction. Only Malabar EXP has stop towards Trivandrum direction.
Is it an error in the website or is it a change in train time table ?
