Onam Celebrations in Technopark

Onam is the season of celebrations and excitement… And all techies and the entire technopark is already in Onam mood.

The official celebration started last week itself, kicked off by Infy. Today is Chingam 1st – the very first day of malayalam new year. Most of the companies will start celebrations from today.

Onam celebrations in technopark is always exciting. Techies will get a chance to come with traditional kerala attire. a relief from their business formals/casuals. In a survey, most of the techies don’t like the dress code. They are comfortable in a jeans and a Tshirt and they think a free mind as well as a cool appearance will help them to be more productive than the business casuals even with a tie in sunny trivandrum!

A Variety of celebrations will be there in different companies. Athappokkalam competetion, Maveli, Vaamanan and Pulikali will be there. The biggest attraction is the Kerala Meal ( Sadya ) followed by all these events. Tug of war and Uriyadi will add up the spirit of competetion and fun on the same time.

  1. Accentia Technologies, Technopark, conducted their Onam celebrations today. All employees were dressed in the traditional Onam attire. A Maveli presented himself and ‘blessed’ all the employees. This was followed by a traditional Puli-kali. A group of employees, dressed as leopards and hunters danced across the first floor of the Nila building at Technopark, where the company’s office is located.
