>>Girish Babu has been appointed as the new CEO of Technopark. He was serving as the managing director of Kerala State IT Infrastructure Limited and was former CEO of Infopark, Kochi. Girish Babu replaces Mervin Alexander.
Girish Babu was a member of the formative team of Kerala State IT Mission (KSITM) when the IT Mission was started in 1999. He has also worked as the Chief Operating Officer – IT Parks during 2002-2003. As the CEO of Infopark, Kochi during 2002-2006, he brought up Kochi as a prominent IT destination in south India. In 2009-10, he was the CEO of  Cyberpark which is coming up in Kozhikode.

Pls look into the issue, the main gate to kazhakkuttom stretch is lacking street lights…passing through this road after late shifts is becoming a safety issue for us… !

Welcome to technopark. I have few suggestions for improving basic facilities within technopark.
1. Improve the lighting conditions inside technopark. Remove the old tube lights with sodi vapour lamps. Install high mast lights infront of Thejaswini near the rear gate and near Pampa/Peiryar. Overall the lighting should remove darkness existing inside technopark.
2. Increase the frequency of tech express and make it round the clock service.
Tech express should be extended upto sreekariyam.
3. Open a round the clock the health center with ECG facility, BP checking blood bank services and ambulance service. Health center can run weekly specialty clinics.
4. Resurface the roads inside the technopark. At some places, roads are in bad conditions.
4. Take measures to start a police station inside technopark,
5. As part of increasing the entertainment aspects, start a closed air theater for running movies during week ends.
6. Take measures for opening a departmental store.
