TechnoparkToday, June 2025: Technopark, Kerala’s largest IT hub, witnessed an exciting convergence of AI talent as more than 200 students from leading educational institutions across Kerala, along with working professionals from the IT industry, participated in the State-Level Generative AI Hackathon 2025.

The high-profile Generative AI Hackathon in Kerala was organized by the Boston Institute of Analytics (BIA) in association with Prathidhwani, the welfare and recreation forum of IT professionals at Technopark Trivandrum. The event aimed to promote collaboration between academia and industry while fostering innovation in Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) — one of the fastest-growing sectors in the global technology space.

Generative AI Seminar and Hackathon at Technopark: Bridging Academia and Industry

The event featured a state-level Gen AI seminar and hands-on hackathon, offering students, faculty members, and IT professionals an opportunity to work on real-world Generative AI projects using the latest AI frameworks and tools.

Dr Sabu M Thampi, Chief Vigilance Officer & Professor at KUDSIT and Founder & Director of Quantumweave Intelligence, along with Dr Anjana P Das, Gen AI Architect at Tata Elxsi, Thiruvananthapuram, led insightful seminar sessions on the future of Generative AI applications in India and beyond.

Participants gained valuable exposure to AI innovation trends, industry challenges, and future career opportunities in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning domains.
