Debian packaging workshop at Technopark

TechnoparkToday.com>>  As part of the most awaited international release of Debian 9 “Stretch”, the Debian community in Kerala in co-ordination with FAYA:80 is to conduct a Debian packaging workshop.

Sessions taken by Praveen, who has 9 years experience as a technology consultant and a senior system administrator with companies like HP, Red Hat, United Airlines and Amazon. He is also a podmin at poddery.com and he was a mentor for Google Summer of Code. He has introduced many students to Free Software and mentored them in their contributions. He is a privacy advocate and his recent campaigns include otr works (making encryption accessible to everyone) and pirate cycling (cycled across Kerala over one month promoting knowledge freedom). He is also active with Indian language computing community, Swathanthra Malayalam Computing.
