The city is all set to run for TrivandRUN- 16

TechnoparkToday.com>> The city is all set to run for TrivandRUN- 16, an annual charity fundraising event, organised by SARSAS (Save A Rupee Spread A Smile), a registered charitable organization working in and around Trivandrum on various social causes.

Every year, on the second Saturday of January, runners from the city come together for a good cause. South Indian Actor Suresh Gopi is the brand ambassador for TrivandRUN. This year, the city is going to witness the third edition of the Run.

The inaugural edition of TrivandRUN was held in 2014, and raised an amount of Rs. 7.5 lakhs with the overwhelming support of around 2000 runners which was duly given away to deserving patients at the Regional Cancer Centre, Thiruvananthapuram. The second edition of the Run which was conducted the following year raised an amount of Rs.10 Lakhs, which is being handed out to needy renal patients at the Trivandrum Medical College, associating with KNOS.

The third edition, TrivandRUN 2016 of the run is to be held on January 9, 2016 at 5 am at GolfLinks, Kowdiar, to raise funds for the needy cancer patients of Regional Cancer Centre Trivandrum (RCC)

This year, for TrivandRUN-16, more than 3000 runners are expected to participate in the event. To add lustre to the event, a musical concert by the popular band Masala Coffee and other exciting cultural events will be staged after the Run.

Endurance Run – 10km
Fun Run – 2km

Basic Entry – Rs 200

Entry +Cap – Rs 300

Entry + Cap + T shirt – Rs 500

TrivandRUN registration counters are open at Technopark till 6^th January, 2016.
Registration can also be done at TrivandRUN counters at Style Plus, Kowdiar and QRS, Pulimoodu from 4 pm to 8 pm till 6^th January, 2016.
