‘Celerio Diesel’ to be Launched Soon

TechnoparkToday.com>>The much awaited Maruthi Suzuki’s ‘Celerio Diesel’ is all set to be launched in early of Jun ‘15. Bookings are expected to start shortly. Maruthi claims that Celerio Diesel would give a mileage of ~28Kmpl (ARAI-rated), hence it is said to be the ‘Most Fuel Efficient Car in India’.

The vehicle uses a new 793cc, 2-cylinder diesel engine for the hatchback and will have the capacity to produce 47bhp at 3500rpm and 12kgm at 2000rpm. Likely to come with 5 speed manual transmission during the initial days and later on with an upgrade to Automated Manual Transmission(AMT).

Celerio Diesel is likely to be offered in LDi, VDi and ZDi variants. The expected price ranges between INR 4.6 – 5.7lakhs.
