BioDesign India Symposium in Technopark

The Centre for Systems and Synthetic Biology and the Centre for Bioinformatics, Kerala UniversityÂ is organizing a symposium on Synthetic Biology â€“ BioDesign India, at Park Centre, Technopark Campus Trivandurm, Kerala,Â from October 7thÂ to October 9th, 2010. The symsosium is first of its kind in the country. Education Minister M.A Baby will inaugurate the event in a function presided over by Prof A. Jayakrishnan.

Ramakrishna Ramaswamy of Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi,Â Venkatesh Kareenhalli of IIT-Bombay, Manju Bansal of IISc, Bangalore andÂ Guhan Jayaraman of IIT-Madras are among the eminent Indian scientists who will deliver lectures on novel and useful applications of Systems and Synthetic Biology.
