Startup Company VehicleST signs MOU with Promatas

TechnoparkToday.com>> Vehicle ST – a startup incubated at Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation Ltd(KSIDC), signed MOU(memorandum of Understanding) with Promatas in an event held on 3rd August 2016 at Symphony Hall, Mascot Hotel, Trivandrum.

The companies together intends to implement the transportation facilities and mobile application services developed by VehicleST in Middle East and US. Moreover, a new office for research & development will be opened soon in Inforpark, Cherthala.

The official MOU signing ceremony was presided by Dr Beena IAS (Managing Director, KSIDC) and felicitated by Shri Hrishikesh Nair(CEO, Technopark & Infopark). Shri Siva Vikram IPS(DCP, Trivandrum) gave special address speech. Shri Alvin George(CEO, VehicleST) and Shri Joshi Babu(Chairman, Promatas Group) signed the MOU.

VehicleST is said to be the first company among the startups to receive a huge funding. The company was successful in implementing Samsung tablets in select Autos, which was referred to be ‘Smart Autos’. More than 7 Autos are now converted to Smart Autos in Kazhakootam area. As techies have given positive response during the trial run, more Autos will be covered in this Project.

The VehicleST mobile application available in Play Store, allows the passengers to bid a service for a better fare. Also the application provides details on nearby Special Vehicles, Taxis, Ambulance available.
