Technopark eyes 20% growth in software export

TechnoparkToday.com(March, 2016): Technopark, one of the largest IT parks in the country, expects the software export from the park to register over 20% growth by the end of the current financial year. “The software export from the park during the current fiscal is expected to touch Rs 6,200 crore. This is against the Rs 5,100-crore software export figure the companies from the park have together achieved in the 2014-15 financial year,” said Technopark CEO S Ramnath.

“The park is in a class of its own and the priority for the administration in the coming days would be to elevate the park further up in the value chain,” he said. Ramnath said the employee strength in the park has crossed 50,000 mark recently. The number of companies in the park too have crossed 350, he added.
