Techies May Soon Get a BAR inside Technopark

TechnoparkToday.com>> July 12, 2013:  There is a chance of a Liquor Shop opening at Technopark club soon.  Club authorities are trying to get foreign liquor license from the Excise department.  The bar in Technopark club is as part of the 2.3 crore refurbishment project of Club house with new facilities.  The plan was submitted to authorities 2 months ago and waiting for their call.

The Club meets most of the requirements for getting the Bar licence, and it also trying to affiliate to other clubs, as there is a clause in the rule that the applying club should have affiliation with minimum 5 similar kind of clubs.

It is also heard that some local Abkari contractors are operating against the project as the Bar inside the campus would affect their business outside.
