Techie Organizations gave Farewell to Sri Girish Babu

The Techie Organizations in Technopark had a farewell meet with Sri K G Girish Babu, the former CEO of Technopark, who moved as the CEO of Kerala State IT Integrated Township Project. The volunteers of Natana, Prathidhwani, Tejus, Prakruthi, Tech Friends, Vivekananda Study Circle, EWIT & Technopark Employees organized this meet at Park Centre, Technopark on 24th Feb 2016.

The organizations highlighted and thanked for the support received from Sri Girish Babu which had driven each and every event to success. Sri Girish Babu pointed that all organizations have been doing good and requested to continue with the same spirit. Trivandrum Technopark has a good life through the synergy of these organizations. He was gifted with Mementos and Signature Photos by Techies.

There were around 200 IT companies in Technopark when Sri Girish Babu took charge as CEO in the year 2011, now it has grown to 350. There is an immense difference in the number of employees – 20K to more than 50K. Now Technopark has an annual income of 5100 corers. Moreover, the initial planning of Pallipuram Technocity, accommodating more companies in Kollam Technopark, implementation of waste management system are some of his achievements as Technopark CEO. He follows the strategy – to be friendly, have a friendly environment in work place and give a smile to all the guests.

KG Girish Babu started his career in KSIDC and was instrumental in the formation of Keltec, which was later named as Brahmos Aerospace. He played a major role in Kochi Smart City Project when he was the CEO of Infopark Kochi.  In September 2011, he became the MD of Kerala State IT Infrastructure Ltd and in December 2011 he was appointed as CEO of Technopark.

Kerala State IT Infrastructure Limited Managing Director Shri Ramnath will take the additional charge of Technopark CEO.
