Solving infrastructure issues near Technopark as MLA visits Mulluvila, Attipra

Technopark (May 2026) : Kazhakkoottam MLA V Muraleedharan visited Mulluvila in Attipra on Sunday to directly assess infrastructure and waterlogging issues faced by residents living near Technopark.

The visit comes amid growing concerns from local families regarding drainage challenges, flooding during monsoon, road conditions, and accessibility issues in the locality, which is situated close to the expanding Technopark region.

During the visit, the MLA interacted with residents, inspected affected areas, and discussed key concerns including stagnant water, poor drainage connectivity, damaged roads, and the need for improved public infrastructure. Residents also requested better access through the Technopark side gate and improvements to street lighting in the area.

Many of the families residing in Mulluvila were rehabilitated there after surrendering land for Technopark development during the mid-1990s. Over the years, the rapid urban growth and expansion around the IT hub have increased pressure on local infrastructure, especially during heavy rains.

The MLA assured residents that discussions would be initiated with the concerned departments and authorities to explore long-term solutions to the issues affecting the locality.

With Technopark continuing to grow as one of India’s major IT hubs, the proposed interventions are expected to improve infrastructure, accessibility, and quality of life for nearby residents and the broader tech ecosystem in the region.
