OLAM Technopark Edition 2018 ( 13th & 14h August 2018)

This year, the Onam celebration will have an extra ‘olam’. The special edition of Olam flea market is being held at Technopark on August 13 and 14 as part of the Onam celebrations.  Excitement is at its peak after Team Olam and Technoparktoday.com announced Olam special edition at Technopark.  The flea market, organized in association with Technoparktoday.com, will have a potpourri of entertainment, food, fashion and lifestyle. The event will be held at Club house premises from 5 pm to 10 pm.

 

Nammude Ponnonam ( 13th August 2018)

For techies, Onam does not mean a celebration exclusive for them. Keeping the tradition of Onam which sees all human beings as one, a unique event ‘Nammude Ponnonam 2018’ is being oragnised by Dishna, a collective of techies focusing social well-being, in association with, eWIT, Prathidhwani , Tejus, TechnoparkToday.com for a noble cause on August 13. To express the gratitude to the support staff who work in Technoprk campus, the team gift ‘Onakkodi’ to all support staff of Technopark.  With the event, techies reached out 500 plus lady support staff in the roles of security, gardening, car washing, and janitorial services.

Orumayode Oronam (16th August 2018)

Natana – the Cultural Club of Technopark, is organising Orumayode Oronam on August 16. The event consists of a slew of programmes that keep up with the tradition of Onam.

The onam celebrations starts with Pookkalam (Floral Carpet ) competition on 16th Aug 2018, followed by Tug Of War and Thiruvathira. In addition to the prizes for winners, special award will be given to pokkalam, which gets the maximum number of likes in Technoparktoday.com facebook page. All Technopark companies are expected to participate in this mega onam event.  The pookkalam contest will be held in Phase I and Phase III.  Natana announced a photo bombing contest also to add flavors to the onam celebrations.

Oru Onnonnara Onam  ( 8th – 31st August 2018)

To celebrate the spirit and the joy of this Onam, Mytechnopark app is organizing a photo contest for techies – Oru Onnannara Onam. Techies can participate in the photo contest by send best captured moments from their onam celebrations in the IT park.

Rice Bucket Challenge ( 8th – 22nd August 2018)

Rice bucket challenge, Prathidhwani’s Rice Bucket Challenge 2018 (Edition IV) was launched by Mayor Sri V K Prasanth by dropping the first rice packet. He challenged the employees to collect 10 ton rice. The rice collected would be distributed to the needy non-IT employees working here in Technopark for Onam 2018. Also we plan to help the Kuttanadu people with Onam kits during Onam. Techies can be part of this campaign by accepting the challenge to deposit the rice packets of minimum 5kg in the bucket which is placed at the entrance of main buildings in Technopark like Nila, Bhavani, Thejaswini, Gayathri, Carnival, Chandragiri, Pamba, Periyar, Amstor. Technopark Phase 2, Technopark Phase 3 and Kinfra Park and then challenge your friends.

 

Malayali Manka Kerala Sreeman 2018 ( 17th August – 20th October 2018)

Technoparktoday.com has also announced another attractive event of Onam- ‘Malayali Manka and  Kerala Sreeman 2018’ contest. Techies can join the contest by sharing their pictures in traditional attire with Technoparktoday.com facebook page.  Semifinalists will be selected based on judges’ choice and number of likes for their pictures in the Technoparktoday.com facebook page.
