NASSCOM to Launch its Kerala Regional Council

TechnoparkToday.com>>  July 17, 2013:  NASSCOM, the industry association of Indian IT and ITES sector is now setting up a Regional Council (RC) for Kerala.  NASSCOM finds Kerala as an emerging destination for IT and ITES industry in the country.  Kerala will be NASSCOM ‘s the 5th RC across the country.

Chief Minister Oommen Chandy will launch the Kerala Regional Council on July 22, 2013 at 11 am at Vivanta by Taj, Trivandrum.  Minister for IT and Industry, PK Kunhalikkutty will preside over the function.  Bharat Bhushan IAS, Chief Secretary; Som Mittal, president NASSCOM, and VK Mathews, chairman, NASSCOM RC Kerala will be present for the function.

NASSCOM is a nonprofit organization funded by the industry, its objective is to build a growth led and sustainable technology and business services sector in the country.  Established in 1988, NASSCOM’s membership represent 95 percent of industry revenues and have enabled the association to spearhead initiatives and programs to build the sector in the country and globally.
