NASSCOM Product Conclave 2014 in Cochin

The third regional edition of NPC to be held in Cochin to showcase promising product start-ups from the region.

TechnoparkToday.com>> May 26, 2014: To evangelize the growing product start-ups ecosystem in the south, The National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) will organize its third regional edition of the NASSCOM Product Conclave (South) in Cochin at the Hotel Le Meridian on 30th May, 2014.

Being a strategic hub of Indian Product Start-ups, the one day conference in the city will serve as an exciting platform for Indian start-ups and emerging companies to access knowledge & support available in the ecosystem. The conference will be attended by thought leaders from the product industry, including VCs, Practicing Entrepreneurs, and Consultants, who will share their views on the evolving product and start-ups landscape.

The inaugural address will be given by Ms. Aruna Sundararajan, IAS, MD, Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC) and the key note address by Mr. V K Mathews, Chairman, NASSCOM Kerala Regional Council & EC Member & Executive Chairman, IBS Group.

India has become an attractive ground to cultivate start-ups, with an increased interest in Indian start-ups by overseas investors and improvements in infrastructure. The Cochin edition of the conclave has already received over 90+ registrations and will be attended by over 13 key speakers. The event will witness huge amount of enthusiasm from delegates of over 95 participating organizations; showcasing why it is the right time to be a product entrepreneur in India. The conclave will also showcase interesting start-ups and emerging companies, who will share insights on the evolving segment.

The Indian software product industry is growing exponentially in terms of both revenue and talent. The growth of the software product industry in recent years has signalled a transformation in India. Keeping this in mind, the focus of the NPC will be to set the stage for Indian start-ups and emerging companies to access support available in the ecosystem on building their markets, create performing teams and secure funding from investors.
