Kerala IT Team at CeBIT-2013 Australia

TechnoparkToday.com>> May 2013: A high level delegation from Kerala IT comprising of Principal Secretary for IT, P H Kurian; and Technopark CEO K. G. Girish Babu is participating in digital industry’s biggest and most international event – CeBIT 2013 in Sydney, Australia from 28 – 30 May 2013. CeBIT Australia is the local version of the giant European CeBIT, which has been Europe’s Premier IT event for years now.  The Kerala IT Pavilion today was inaugurated by Mr. P H Kurian in the presence of K G Girish Babu, Technopark Senior Business Development Manager, M Vasudevan and the CEOs of 17 Kerala IT Companies participating in this event.

The New South Wales (NSW) Premier Barry O’Farrell visited the Kerala IT pavilion and expressed hope that Kerala – Australia IT trade will grow in the coming years. Prior to the event, P H Kurian held meetings with Andrew Stoner MP, NSW Deputy Premier and Minister for Trade and Investment & Regional Infrastructure and Services, Mr. Mark Paterson AO, Director General,  – Trade & Investment and officials of Trade & Investment, where lot of bi-lateral matters were discussed. The Kerala IT delegation made a detailed presentation to the NSW officials and CEOs of Australian companies and members of Australian Chamber and had one to one meeting. The NSW team assured that an IT delegation will visit Kerala next to assess the IT strengths and to strengthen the bilateral business relations.

After CeBIT, the Kerala IT delegation will also be visiting Melbourne and Brisbane to meet IT companies and discuss on boosting bilateral trade and investment.

CEOs of Acts Info, Arackal Digital, Attinad, Confianz, Cronos, Enfin, Exalt, Experion, IIC Web Solutions, Kreara, Light Logics, Mirox Cyber Security, Orisys, Saturn, Se-mentor, Suyati, Technocruz, Techrista, Webture and Zesty Beanz are also part of the Kerala IT delegation to Australia.
