CORPORATE – A Techno Thriller Movie from Techies!

TechnoparkToday.com(May, 2014) : Ever wondered what would you do if you get to know that someone got access to your mail ID and used it for their convenience right in front of you, without even you realizing it? Ever imagined that the so called latest gadgets which we are addicted to, could make our lives miserable b’coz of our negligence?

That’s exactly the subject what the 42minutes Techno Thriller film CORPORATE deals with. Loosely based on a real life incident, Produced by Major Biji Soman, under the banner Budget Lab Productions; CORPORATE is directed by debutant director Nishant, who is also is an employee working in Techno Park. The film has John (3G fame, Amritha TV Super Dancer Runner Up), Dinesh Panicker and Kishor Satya playing the lead.

The film takes you through the journey of 6 friends in today’s corporate world. As the theme of the film states, “everything is fair in the CORPORATE world”, each of the characters knowingly or unknowingly becomes part of a conspiracy that was sketched by one among them. But the catch in the story is the twist that happens during climax, which makes the theme of the film more appealing. i.e, “everything is “always” fair in the CORPORATE world”.

Shot using 5D Mark 111 camera, with a modest budget of Rs 3 lakhs, the shoot got over in just 5 days time. Location was in and around Trivandrum. Almost 80% of the crew were new comers who were supported by some experienced technicians from the film fraternity.

The film, touted as the first techno thriller short movie in Malayalam is scheduled to have a premiere show at Techno Park campus and also intend to have a television premiere in one of the well known channels. The trailer of the film was released in You Tube on 15^th April.
