Six more companies sign deals with Infopark

TechnoparkToday.com(June, 2014): Phase II of Infopark Kochi has got a major boost with six more companies- UST Global, Trans Asia, Claysys Technologies, Syscon group, Brigade Enterprises, and Media Systems-inking deals with the park to develop IT campuses in the 160-acre project. Ferston Infratel Pvt. Ltd. and Abad Builders have jointly proposed to develop IT infrastructure in the campus.

Cognizant has already taken 15 acres in Phase II for developing their campus. The first phase of their campus will be ready for operations this year.

During an investors’ meet organised by Infopark, Hon’ble Minister for IT Shri P. K. Kunhalikutty said that all the key targets, both in terms of employment and IT space, have been achieved. He also expressed satisfaction over the progress of the ambitious INR 2,500-crore project and promised the support of the state government for all development activities.

Infopark CEO Hrishikesh Nair said, “We have already initiated necessary steps to ensure solid growth in financial year 2014-15. Our target is to double the built-up area to 6 million square feet in by 2015.”

Phase ll will have all the amenities of an ultra-modern IT park with common internal roads, 220 KV gas-insulated sub-station, storm water drains, cable trenches, data connectivity, as well as water treatment and supply.
