BSNL launches WiMAX Services

BSNL Kerala Circle brings the best broadband wireless access technology available anywhere in the world to your homes and offices through WiMAX.

This technology is a few generations ahead of the present ones like EDGE, EVDO etc. BSNL has launched it’s Broadband wireless services on WiMAX platform for internet access in Ernakulam , Thiruvananthapuram , Calicut , Kannur , Kasergod, Malappuram,Trichur,Kollam,Alapuzza and Wayanad Districts . Presently this service is available in the important cities/towns  of Ernakulam, Trivandrum , Calicut, Kannur ,  Kasergod, Malappuram,Trichur,Kollam,Alapuzha and Wayanad districts(Location of sites can be seen by clicking the “Coverage”). Other important locations of the above districts will also be covered with WiMAX services progressively.

BSNL will launch WiMAX services in important cities/towns of Palaghat,Pathanamthitta and Kottayam districts shortly.
