H&R Block and Infosys Crowned Champions of Technopark Cricket Leagues 2026

Technoparktoday(July, 2026) : H&R Block emerged as champions of the Favourite Homes Technopark Premier League (TPL) 2026, while Infosys lifted the Technopark Women’s Cricket League (TWCL) 2026 trophy at the grand finale held at the Technopark Cricket Ground.

The six-month-long cricket extravaganza, powered by Prathidhwani – the welfare organisation of IT employees, concluded with a grand prize distribution ceremony attended by hundreds of IT professionals.

In the men’s final, H&R Block defeated UST to claim the TPL 2026 championship, while Infosys overcame UST in the women’s final to secure the TWCL 2026 title.

The valedictory function was inaugurated by Sandip Kumar, IAS, CEO of Technopark. Indian cricketer Sajana Sajeevan attended as the Guest of Honour and, along with the Chief Guest, presented the trophies and individual awards to the winning teams and outstanding performers.

Representatives from Favourite Homes, the title sponsor, including Farvin Muhammed (AGM), Mary Leena (Senior Manager), and Rajeev Kumar (Senior Manager), were also present at the ceremony.

The event was presided over by TPL Convenor Vipinraj Aniyath, while TPL General Convenor Sajith Dev welcomed the gathering.

Among the dignitaries present were Abhilash D.S., Assistant Vice President (Administration & Industrial Relations), Technopark; Rajeev Krishnan, State Convenor of Prathidhwani; Vishnu Rajendran, President of Prathidhwani; Vineeth Chandran, Secretary; Rajith V.P., Sports Forum Convenor; and Krishnakumar, CEO of Zeetius.

  • Best Bowler: Ajith Kannan (H&R Block)
  • Player of the Final: Anandhu Raj (H&R Block)

TWCL 2026 Individual Award Winners

  • Most Valuable Player: Jisha Gomez (TCS)
  • Best Batter: Jisha Gomez (TCS)
  • Best Bowler: Anusree C.A. (Infosys)
  • Player of the Final: Anusree C.A. (Infosys)

The 2026 edition of the tournament witnessed record participation, with 174 men’s teams and 24 women’s teams competing in more than 300 matches over six months. Recognised as one of India’s largest IT-sector cricket tournaments, TPL and TWCL brought together thousands of IT professionals from across Technopark, fostering sportsmanship, teamwork, fitness and community spirit.

Since its inception in 2001, the Technopark Premier League has evolved into one of the country’s largest corporate sporting events, reflecting the vibrant culture and camaraderie of the Technopark ecosystem.
