Allianz Services India Hosts Innovation Marathon 2026; Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering Emerges as Winner

TechnoparkToday>> Technopark-based Allianz Services India organized the Allianz Innovation Marathon 2026, bringing together young innovators from colleges across Kerala to explore the future of insurance through AI and emerging technologies.

Finalists from Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering, College of Engineering Trivandrum, LBS Institute of Technology for Women, TKM College of Engineering, and Amrita University showcased their concepts to a panel of industry experts from Allianz Services India. 

The winners, Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering, received prizes worth Rs. 1.5 Lakh, while the runners-up, College of Engineering Trivandrum, were awarded prizes worth Rs. 75,000. Jison John, Chief Delivery Officer, Allianz Services India, Mauritius, Morocco, Portugal, and the APAC region, and MD & CEO of Allianz Services India, and Praveen Sasidharan, Chief Insurance Officer, Allianz Services, presented the awards and recognized the participants for their innovative ideas for the future of insurance industry. The winning team was also given an opportunity for internship with the Data and Gen AI pillar at Allianz Services India.

The event held on February 16, 2026, under the ASPIRE (Allianz Services Program for Industry Readiness and Excellence) initiative, received 120 submissions from colleges across Kerala.  After the evaluation process, nine teams from five leading technical institutions were selected to present their ideas. 

By engaging with emerging talent, Allianz Services India continues to bridge academia and industry, fostering a culture of innovation and empowering the next generation of skilled professionals to drive progress in the insurance sector.
