Brigade Group Accelerates Kerala Expansion with Landmark WTC and Brigade Square Launch in Technopark Trivandrum.

Technoparktoday (Feb, 2026) : Brigade Group strengthened its footprint in Kerala by laying the foundation stone for its flagship World Trade Center (WTC) at Technopark Phase I, Kazhakkottam, on February 11.

The proposed WTC will feature 20 floors along with ground and four basement levels. Envisioned as a global business hub, the development aims to significantly enhance the local IT ecosystem and attract international investments to the capital city.

Shri Seeram Sambasiva Rao, IAS, Special Secretary, Department of Electronics & IT, Government of Kerala, attended the ceremony and unveiled the commemorative plaque.

On the same occasion, Brigade Square — a 1.85 lakh sq. ft. IT building located near Technopark’s Park Centre — was inaugurated by Shri Sandip Kumar IAS, CEO of Technopark, in the presence of Shri M.R. Jaishankar, Executive Chairman of Brigade Enterprises Limited.

Speaking at the event, M.R. Jaishankar said Brigade believes in the transformative power of infrastructure to elevate cities into global economic hubs. He emphasized Kerala’s strong talent pool and emerging role as a major growth engine in South India. He also revealed expansion plans in Infopark Kochi, where Brigade intends to add another tower to its existing WTC, scaling total IT office space to one million sq. ft.

Technopark CEO Shri Sandip Kumar IAS highlighted the capital city’s connectivity, skilled workforce, and upcoming IT policy incentives as major strengths that will support sustained growth.

Shri Hrishikesh Nair, President of WTC, elaborated on the Group’s broader IT infrastructure roadmap in Thiruvananthapuram, aimed at building a comprehensive environment for global enterprises.

Senior industry leaders and former Technopark CEOs were also present at the ceremony.
