TCS Digital Hub at Technopark Phase IV set for inauguration

Trivandrum Jan 2026: The first phase of the Tata Consultancy Services(TCS) Digital Hub, one of India’s largest technology facilities focused on next-generation domains, is ready for inauguration at Technopark Phase IV, officials said. The inauguration date will be announced by the state government, and the facility is expected to be inaugurated by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.

The project spans approximately 94 acres within the 389-acre Phase IV campus. Construction, being executed by Tata Projects Ltd, is nearing completion. Sources indicate that the built-up area of the first phase alone exceeds one million square feet across two major blocks, housing advanced office spaces, specialised laboratories, and collaboration zones.

The Digital Hub has been designed to drive deep-tech innovation, with a strong focus on artificial intelligence, robotics, aerospace, and advanced research. Unlike conventional IT delivery centres, the facility is envisioned as a hub for research and product development, strengthening TCS’s global innovation and engineering capabilities.

Following the inauguration, the campus will see phased operational roll-outs. In the initial stage, the hub is expected to support around 6,200 professionals, with capacity set to expand significantly as additional blocks become operational. On full completion of all phases, the campus is projected to accommodate up to 21,000 professionals, making it one of the largest employment generators in Kerala’s IT and technology services sector.

Senior Technopark officials said the TCS Digital Hub marks a major milestone in the evolution of Technopark Phase IV and Kerala’s broader technology ecosystem. Beyond job creation, the facility is expected to serve as a nucleus for collaboration between global enterprises, startups, and academic institutions, particularly in emerging areas such as AI, aerospace engineering, and advanced robotics.
