High Level Delegation from Government of India Visits Technopark

TechnoparkToday.com>> April 2013: A high level delegation from Government of India, led by Mr. S R Rao, IAS, Commerce Secretary, Govt. of India today visited Technopark. He was accompanied by Mr J S Deepak, Additional Secretary, Govt of India, Ms. Vandana Yadav, IAS, Director, Ministry of Commerce, Smt Sheela Thomas, IAS, Chairperson, Rubber Board, and Dr Jayathilak, IAS, Chairman, Spices Board.

The delegation was received by Mr K G Girish Babu, CEO Technopark along with Mr M Vasudevan, Senior Business Development Technopark. Mr Girish Babu gave a detailed presentation on the advantages of Kerala IT in comparison to other states “Kerala IT will become the next IT powerhouse, and would become a major investment destination due to success of its hub and spoke model adopted by Kerala IT for IT/ITES companies, he also spoke about the readily available global standard It infrastructure in the special economic zone (SEZ) and domestic tariff area across the state.

After visiting the park and its facilities, Mr S R Rao expressed his happiness to visit the greenest and the largest IT Park and offered all support for making Trivandrum a software export hub of India.
