Onam Celebrations kick-start at Infopark

>>Kick-starting the festive season of Onam, Infopark Kochi has organized ‘INFO-FEST 2012’ at Infopark campus from August 21st to 23rd. The three days Infofest 2012 kick-started with vibrant Shinkary Melam in Vismya Building at Infopark.

Infopark CEO Gigo Joseph said, “Infofest is a great opportunity for the IT professionals at the park to take a break from their hectic schedules and enjoy the festive season with their colleagues and peers and indulge in some fun activities. We have received very good response from companies in terms of participation for various contests and we are already feeling the spirit of Onam festival in the campus. This is a good time for all to unwind and come back after the holiday season in full vigor and become more productive.”

Infofest 2012 is the first of its kind inter-company celebration to be conducted in Infopark. The festival features various competitions, games, exhibitions and fun activities.  Over 15 competitions in five main categories have been organized in the individual and group categories. Games such as Arm Wrestling, Sack Race, Filling the Bottle, Musical Chair, Food Eating Competition, Photography Competition, Painting Competition, Sravana Sandhya; Skit (duration: 10mts), Musical Nite, In Flowering Park; Athapookalam (Flower Carpet Competition, Onathappan to visit all Companies). Onakalikal; Tug of War; Find your pair, Uri-Adi. Ona Nilavu; Multi-Talent Performance, Thiruvathirakali, Onapattu, Group Dance, and Folk Dance, have been organized for the techies at the park.

An exhibition has been organized that has stalls set up by builders, fashion houses, automobile companies and hospitality industry apart from other handicrafts and daily use items.

The three days festivity and celebration will culminate with the “Onamelam” – a musical extravaganza on August 23rd from 7pm to 9pm.  Enieo Event Management Company is managing the entire conduct of Infofest 2012 for Infopark. Onapookalam winners will get the Infopark Ever-rolling Trophy. Other prizes will be given by the event management company.
