Prathidhwani My Government School: 20 Techies enrolled their children in Govt. Schools

TechnoparkToday.com>> Parthidhwani, the welfare Organization of IT Employees, introduces a new initiative- Prathidhwani My Government School. The group is trying to scale up the infrastructure and academic quality of Govt Schools in Trivandrum.  The group functions for the betterment of Government Schools and to promote public education among techies.

In this this academic year, the group is planning to engage with more Governtment schools SMC, PTA, and Development Councils for their academic, non-academic and infrastructure development.

The members have also engaged with Corporate CSR teams of Technopark companies and set up community crowdfunding campaigns for the same. Prathidhwani hopes this initiative will be helpful for techies working at Technopark as it provides high-quality free education for their children.

There are around 40 members in this group and they believe in practising what they preach by enrolling their children in Goverment Schools. Close to 20 parents have enrolled their children in the above schools and the others have joined the development councils.

They are active members of parent-teacher associations (PTA) of the schools and help in ensuring that government schemes for educational institutions are implemented effectively.

The group conduct weekly meetups to discuss the reforms they have initiated at these schools.  Currently 8 Goverment Schools in Trivandrum are associated with Prathidhwani My Government School Initiative.
