Beach Carnival at Sangumukham on Jan 21st

There is a beach carnival on 21st january 2012 at Sangumukham beach from 9AM onwards. This is an initiative by The Kite Fliers as part of the yearly ongoing Grand Kerala Shopping Festival, to encourage children and adults to spread the message of environmental awareness, a unique activity was felt inevitable. Sand Sculpture, a unique art of modeling sand into an artistic form, an amusing and creative skill liked by all was thought to enhance the festive mood of GKSF.

You are invited to try your hands on Sand Sculpting/Drawing/Writing Messages on sand or just playing with sand at the designated practice pit. This is not for competing with each other but for the love of art. The renowned Sand Sculpture artist Mr.Deepak Mouthatil will be assisting the teams and he will also share his experience as Sand Sculpture artists, its techniques etc. There will be also a street magic going on at the venue by the famous magician Mr. Raja Moorthy to enhance the mood. Musicians unplugged will be singing old country ‘n’ western songs to entertain the crowd. Enjoy sumptuous sea food on the beach with lots of fun and entertainment and also win prizes too.
