Startup Mission invites voluntary Organisations as Community Partners

starup ijmi copyTechnoparktoday.COM>> The Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) is laying the foundation for an inclusive startup ecosystem with a unique community development programme that involves startup and maker communities across the state.

Operating through community centres at the grassroots level, the Startup Community Development Programme(SCDP) will serve as a platform to connect students, professionals, entrepreneurs and innovators in the state.

KSUM invited non-profit organisations, which have experience of not less than a year in organising startup support activities, to partner in the programme. These organisations will act as the community centres for aspiring entrepreneurs from schools and colleges.

The community centres will provide a common platform for innovations and enterprises. The community partners can conduct open workshops, seminars, hackathons, ideathons with the support of KSUM.

‘There are many maker communities and start-up communities who work for spreading the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship among the youth. The focus will be on establishing a strong chain so that the activities can be spread to the entire state effectively,” said Dr Jayashankar Prasad, CEO, Startup Mission.

Interested organisations can register online at www.startupmission.kerala.gov.in or send a message to the facebook page of the Kerala Startup Mission.
