Black Man Fear Grips The City?

 

TechnoparkToday.com > ‘It was 1.30 am, all were in sound sleep.  The housewife heard a knock on the door.  She went near the door and the knocking sound is clearer now.   She peeped through the side window.  Suddenly, a scary, black, demonic face appeared near the window, sending chills down her spine.  She screamed and all of a sudden, the tall, black figure moved into the gate bouncing, as if it had springs under the feet..!!’ you might have heard a similar story– This is one of  the several stories of ‘black man’ going rounds in the city for some time.

People fear that black man would attack them anytime in the darkness of night.    Some city residents have been complaining that they saw a dark figure loitering in their courtyard in late nights and it tried to attack them and the vehicles.

There are so many stories spreading around this dark entity.  Some people say that  it is a 10-foot long creature, but in some other versions – the black man is like an ordinary man with all black color in the body, and attacking people with a razor kept in his hand, with an intention to spread the dreaded diseases like HIV and they have springs in their shoes, so that they can jump and go, and even able to jump over the gates and walls.

Such fabricated stories are popular among techies too.  The stories tell that the areas in and around Kazhakkoottam, where the majority of techies are staying in hostels and PG’s, were visited by this imaginary character.  The interesting fact is – most of the visits happened in the ladies hostels and PG’s.  The news is creating fear among the lady techies staying in hostels and PG’s around Technopark.  Not only the techies, but the local residents are also in fear of the black man stories.

Police says – several complaints about this apparition originated, maintained that ‘black man’ might be the brain child of some pervert young men, who liked to peep into bedrooms at night.  The perverts in other parts too might have adopted the idea, and by using this name the anti social elements and criminals  want to distract the attention of the people during nights for which they weaved a story.

In our investigation – We didn’t find anyone who spotted the so called black man in real life, and everybody saying – someone else said them so.We are trying to meet the people claiming  they met the black man in real.
