Metal Washer Found in Uzhunnuvda – A Techie’s Complaint

TechnoparkToday.com>> June 16, 2013:  Food joints in Technopark are in news again for wrong reasons. This time, Amrita restaurant, functioning in Nila Atrium, served unhygienic food.  Techies, who went for evening tea and snacks on Friday evening, got a metal washer from uzhunnu vada.

“We were having evening snack and tea from Amrita, when I got a metal washer from uzhunnu vada.  Luckily, I noticed it before getting swallowed.  We called the restaurant authorities, but the response was cold.  The Cook who made the vada also came to the scene and said that they don’t know how it was happened”.

“As majority of techies depend these kinds of restaurants for their daily food, this is the high time to act against hotels functioning in unhygienic conditions. I have no personal grudges against the restaurant authorities, but this kind of incidents must not be repeated.  So we have filed a complaint with the food safety officials and they promised to take action” said Dhiraj, the complainant.

There were complaints against this outlet in the past too.  Last time TechnoparkToday reported a similar incident where a techie got a cooked worm from chicken Manchoorian from the same restaurant.  Click here to read the News
