Technopark-incubated Genrobotics develops robots to clean manholes

TechnoparkToday.com>> A Technopark-incubated company has developed a robot that can put an end to one of the most dehumanizing jobs- “cleaning of manholes”.  Genrobotics, founded by a group of students from MES Kuttippuram, has developed Bandicoot – a robot, that can clean manholes.

Genrobotics is a startup firm, founded in 2015 under Kerala startup mission.   After the successful development of prototype, Kerala Water Authority, will fund the company in creating workable model and later in its commercial production.

The company is also focusing on developing defense related robotic products.  The pilot work of sewage cleaning will be done during Attukal pongala.
