IGNOU convocation ceremony in Trivandrum

ISRO former chairman G Madhavan Nair will distribute the degree certificates to more than 350 students enrolled to different programmes at the 24th convocation programme of Indira Gandhi National Open University.

The regional convocation function will be held on September 5, at 2.30 p.m. at Classic Avenue Auditorium. The convocation programme will be organised at all regional centres across the country simultaneously with the main function scheduled on IGNOU campus in Delhi .

Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama will be honoured with D.Litt by IGNOU at the function to be held in Delhi. Minister of State for Human Resource Development D Purandeswari will deliver the convocation address. Minister of State for External Affairs E Ahamed and IGNOU Vice-Chancellor V N Rajasekharan Pillai will address the programme.
