TechnoparkToday.com | Trivandrum | July 2025: Speridian Technologies, a global IT consulting and digital transformation company, successfully hosted The One AI Hackathon 2025 in Trivandrum, showcasing cutting-edge artificial intelligence solutions from Kerala’s top engineering colleges and startups. The event, held on Saturday, attracted 18 teams, including 11 college teams and 7 Kerala-based AI startups, all competing to solve real-world industry problems using AI.

Winners from TKM College and Vitalview AI Shine with Innovative AI Solutions
In the college category, students from TKM College of Engineering, Kollam bagged the first prize of ₹1.5 lakh. Team members Amit P, Nandagopal VS, and Akash Prasad built a Generative AI-based solution capable of listening to real-time doctor-patient interactions and instantly generating structured SOAP (Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan) notes. The AI system, trained on medical dialogue datasets, also proposed the use of Agentic AI to fetch Electronic Health Records (EHR), aiming to reduce physician burnout and enhance clinical efficiency.
In the startup category, Vitalview AI, a Kerala-based health-tech startup, won the top prize of ₹2 lakh. Team members Amal Shehu, Abhijit, and Ashwin Murali developed an AI-powered predictive maintenance solution. Their system analyzes sensor data to forecast equipment failures, recommend spare parts, and autonomously schedule service, thereby reducing downtime and moving closer to zero unplanned outages in manufacturing.
Other Prize-Winning Teams
- Runner-up (College Category): Sree Chitra Thirunal College of Engineering, Trivandrum — Team members Mehtab Arif, Nandana Rajesh, and Revathy P S created a tool that uses AI to analyze insurance denial letters and auto-generate appeal drafts. Prize: ₹75,000.
- Second Runner-up (College Category): Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology (RIT), Kottayam — Team members Febin Nelson P, Abhiram Ashok, and R Harikrishnan received ₹25,000 for their AI solution in the healthcare insurance domain.
- Runner-up (Startup Category): Ugenix Technologies LLP — Team members Udhay Krishna and Joel Biju secured ₹1.25 lakh for their innovation in AI-powered quality control.
- Third Prize (Startup Category): Tomatrix Technologies Pvt. Ltd — Team members Gifton Tom Biju and R Vaishnav Raj were awarded ₹50,000 for their AI application in industrial analytics.
All participating teams received a competing prize of ₹10,000 in recognition of their contributions.
