Reliance JIO may launch DTH services, Set Top Box images leaked..?

TechnoparkToday.com>>  After telecom, Reliance Jio’s next step is into the TV market..?  Images spreading in online media saying Jio’s Set-Top Box.  The new pictures are different from round set-top box images leaked earlier.

The STB (Set top box) has ports including a standard cable connector, HDMI, USB, as well as audio and video output. There’s also an Ethernet port, which will allow users to connect to a modem to offer broadband.

Jio is said to introducing a special feature called ‘catch up’ which will allow users to stream content from past seven days.  The company may initially launch the service with 300 channels to be followed by more channels.  The rumored voice-control feature could further make the product more disruptive and unique.

Rumors also spreading that Jio is going to partner with Netflix, Amazon Prime to provide content to users. The telco has already partnered with India’s Hotstar as a part of which users may get to stream Hotstar from their STBs.

Lets wait for another revolution by Jio..!!!
