Mercedes Benz to start Mechatronics in GEC

Automobile major Mercedes Benz has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Government Engineering College, Bartonhill, Trivandrum, to start a School of Mechatronics.

The one-year course will be a combination of mechanical and electronics stream. in this mechanical, electronics, advanced automotive systems and soft skills development will be offered to students. The finer details of the course on how many students would be admitted and when the course would begin would be worked out soon.
