Mall of Travancore to open on March 23

TechnoparkToday.com>> The city is all set to welcome its first shopping mall.   Mall of Travancore by Malabar developers will be inaugurated by chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan on March 23.

The mall is spread over 7 acres in Enchakkal.  Due to its proximity to international airport, the height of the mall has been restricted to three floors. There are three underground floors, which are entirely for parking purposes. Around 1000 four wheelers and 1200 two wheelers can be parked at a time. The multiplex run by Carnival group has 7 screens.

The mall will host around 140 stores and over 300 brands.   As part of its CSR initiative, the mall is opening its premises for morning walkers, who can utilize the 1 km long walkway from 6:30 am.

Interestingly, techies have something to cheer about the mall, other than its proximity to Technopark. The Technopark-based green organization Prakruthi has been given all technical support for the mall for its green initiatives, such as construction of organic waste converters and use of reusable materials etc.
