Land acquisition rate fixed for Cyberpark,Kozhikode

The value of the land proposed to be acquired at Nellikode and Pantheerankavu in the city for setting up Cyberpark has been fixed at Rs.1 lakh a cent.

The rate of Rs.1 lakh a cent will be given to the land owners whose land has a path more than eight ft wide. Those having land with a path less than eight ft wide will be given Rs.85,000 a cent.

The displaced families will be rehabilitated at Chevayur. They will be given five cents of land for constructing houses. They will also be provided technical assistance for the same. The displaced families will be considered for employment at Cyberpark when it becomes a reality, the Collector said. Nearly 17.4 hectares will be acquired for Cyberpark.
