The 21st International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) is to be held in the capital city Thiruvananthapuram from December 9th – December 16th.  It is organised by the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy for the Dept. of Cultural Affairs, Govt. of Kerala as an initiative to spring into life a rich culture of filmmaking in Kerala. The advent of new technology has rejuvenated the creative sparks of many talented individuals and there has been a greater production of films and increase in their scope.

The festival strives to provide a platform for these creative minds to display their aesthetic talents in the art of film making.
