Trivandrum July, 2025: In a significant development for Kerala’s IT infrastructure growth, Kochi-based Caspian Techparks India Pvt Ltd is all set to develop a state-of-the-art IT building within Technopark Phase 1 campus. The proposed facility will be constructed on an 81.42-cent land parcel and will feature managed office spaces and co-working hubs to serve emerging startups and tech enterprises.
The Letter of Intent (LoI) for the land lease and project execution was formally handed over by Col Sanjeev Nair (Retd), CEO of Technopark, to Mr. Thomas Chacko, Managing Director of Caspian Techparks India. The ceremony took place in the presence of Mr. Seeram Sambasiva Rao IAS, Special Secretary (Electronics & IT), Government of Kerala, at the Secretariat.
Welcoming Caspian Techparks into the Technopark ecosystem, Mr. Rao noted that the company, while entering the capital city’s IT space, could also explore future growth opportunities in Technopark Phase 4. Col Nair added that Caspian’s experience in delivering modern construction projects in Infopark Phase II Kochi was a key factor in onboarding them for this venture.
“Their use of advanced building technologies and proven speed in execution give us confidence that this project will add tremendous value to the Technopark community,” Col Nair stated.
According to Mr. Thomas Chacko, Caspian Techparks will present a customized building design tailored to the operational and architectural standards of Technopark within a month. The entire project is targeted for completion in just 365 days, setting a new benchmark for fast-paced infrastructure delivery in the park.
Senior officials from Technopark and Caspian Techparks also participated in the event, including Mr. Madhavan Praveen (CTO), Mr. Vipin Kumar S (CFO), Mr. Vasanth Varada (Deputy VP – Marketing & Customer Relations), Mr. George Jacob (Senior Manager – Marketing) and Mrs. Unniamma Thomas (Director, Caspian), among others.
The project marks another step forward in strengthening Technopark’s reputation as a premier destination for IT infrastructure and innovation in India.
