Technopark Firm Polus Software Signs MOU with Christ Nagar School to implement ‘Podium’

TechnoparkToday.com>> July 29, 2014: Technopark-based Polus Software Pvt Ltd entered into an MOU with Christ Nagar School, Kowdiar to pilot Polus’ an interactive teacher-student-parent portal “Podium”.

Podium brings students, teachers and parents of the school to a single online platform. Podium enables teachers to publish class notes, teaching aids, online resources and home work assignments to a location specific to a particular class. This allows students and parents access to all class materials and homework assignments irrespective of day or time. Parents and students can view class schedules, test scores and progress reports online.

Christ Nagar is the first school in India to pilot Podium which is already a favorite among international customers. Polus Software, Technopark has proven track record in educational sector with a strong foothold in the area of research administration systems. Polus clients include many large universities, consortia and research institutions in the US and middle east.

Polus software plans to enhance and fine-tune the application during this yearlong pilot cycle based on the feedback they receive from Christ Nagar community. This is a very proud moment for Polus as the top executives of Polus, Sabarinath Nair (Chairman and CEO), Abhilash G.S (Managing Director), Ajin Thomas (Business Development Manager) are all Christ Nagar alumnus.

Polus signed the MOU with Christ Nagar Principal, Fr Bino Pattarkalam in the presence of Bursar, Fr Chacko Manackal and academic co-ordinator Mr. Thomas Mani.
