Forest Fest 2011

>>Kerala Forest and Wildlife Department organizing Forest Fest 2011 from February 6 to 10 at Kanakakkunnu.  This is to increase awareness of the connections between healthy forests, ecosystems, and people.   The tribes from various parts of Kerala would be an active part in the festival and will present their primitive tribal songs. There will be seminars and discussions on the topics of conservation of forest and biodiversity, environmental issues, and many more. Stalls of wildlife associations, forest products, and book exhibition will be there as a part of the event.
