Technopark – Prathidhwani’s ‘Rice Bucket Challenge’ – Rice distributed

TechnoparkToday.com > Prathidhwani’s ‘Rice bucket challenge’ campaign received great acceptance among techies and we got 456 packs of rice weighing 5kg each (2.3 ton rice). The collected rice packets were distributed as Onam gift to different section of Non IT employees of Technopark  which includes cleaning staff, gardening labourers, car washing employees etc.

Total 301 packets (5kg) distributed inside Technopark at different locations Park centre, Bhavani, Nila, Leela Infopark and Yamuna at Technopark Phase 3 on 9th September, Friday after noon. 115kg rice (23 rice packets) were donated to Devaki Warrier Stay Home, Medical College which provides free & low rate stay for cancer patients coming at Regional Cancer Centre, Trivandrum.Technopark Business Development Manager Sri Vasanth Varada, Technopark HR Sri Abhilash, Prathidhwani Secretary Rajeev Krishnan,  CEO’s of different companies, Prathidhwani executive members and employees participated in the distribution.
On 12th September , Prathidhwani distributed hundred 5kg rice packets to families of 80 school children of Thonnaikkal LP school. They are residing in sheds at two colonies Lalbag, Gopal Ghat near by Thonnaikkal. The land they residing is temporary occupied one & they not even having any documents for any reservations/concessions from the government. Thonnaikkal LP School teacher Smt Beena, Ward member Sri Sudheesh were with us during the distribution.
